How do you set up DMR to D-Star on the MMDVM hot spot within the Pi-Zero settings? Not sure which XLX settings are best, busiest, etc...I can't seem to find any list of XLX reflector definitions that reveal their focus of interest for each of their lettered designations for each Reflector. So, how do you know which reflector, and which alphabetic designation to select?
How do you program a DMR radio to access D-Star through the MMDVM Pi-Zero MMDVM hot spot once the MMDVM is programmed? DMR to D-Star is confusing.
I have DMR to YSF programmed into the MMDVM hotspot, and it seems pretty straightforward, but not DMR to D-Star. Any references or links that will shed some light on the subject would be appreciated.

DMR to YSF is "easy" since they use the same AMBE CODEC. That means the hotspot itself can route the cross-over by just extracting the voice data part from the DMR radio packet, and then wrap it in a YSF packet (and reverse the sequence for YSF network packet)

Since Pi-Star doesn't pay the license fees for the two different AMBE CODECs in use, it can not transcode between DMR and D-STAR. Instead you need to find a D-STAR reflector that is on a server with transcode capability, and that is mapped to DMR talk groups by said server.
