Hi Every One
OLD age and soggy brain cells, off air and radio for a few years, and now playing with stuff Iv had along time forgot how to use update.
Then reading for hours and hours, trying stuff out, then trying to understand every thing.

So question for you brainy lot.

I have a raspberry pi with a hotspot, I got this a few years ago, JUMBO SPOT, I believe it is/was.

1 how would I find out what I have.(it works so its just for my information)
2 As one above would need to know if I need to update firmware. (do I need to?)
3 In pi-star in radio/modem I have always used:

1 STM32-DVM/MMDVM_HS-Rasperry Pi HAT(GPIO)

But thinking I have a Zumspot ????
I tried 2 3 below
2 Zumspot -dual band rasperry pi
3 Zumspot -singal band rasperry pi

both worked?? (CONFUSED)

Then I have always used 434.200000 ?
was thinking of getting a dual band hat, so I used 145.200000 and it worked? (CONFUSED) do I have a dual hat already?
Was looking to update may be raspberry pi and hat?
I have raspberry pi 3plus.
Now I dont know what I have lol. or should I update?

Read what I have wrote. may be I should give up a get 2 bean cans a some wet rope.
So be kind and try to make some sense of my ramblings.

My brain is working in slow mode so so reading your post and replying as I go.
my hat I got from our main radio shop in the UK, we gave two main suppliers.
Cost me £90.00
Broad colour is green. Cant see any thing on board as offset sticker is covering it.

Pi-star software? I updated as re-imaged my sdcard so set up new on

Still confused about dual band hot spot?

Oh well got that right I updated with the right firmware.
So all updated, card re-imaged and set up working.
Raspberry Pi is more than needed.
No need to do any more for some time
thanks for info on that board I was looking at, saved me some cash.
Iv got a Duplex hat and Raspberry Pi, never used it, got that for my two DMR radios 1 mobile radio and hand held used a few times when I got them, must be a year now and not used.
