I was wondering if it is possible to reconfigure the USB micro port (not the power USB micro) so I could use it as USB to serial when connected to my laptop. I usually have it powered from my laptop and would like to get a login screen instead or ssh to the device. Is this possible? Has anyone done it?
Use case: On public WIFI, devices usually can not ping each other. So ssh will not work. But I would like to have terminal access to pi-start over serial to USB micro.
