Hotspot works on Reflector 01C Only. No others.

Post by km5gt »

Apologies up front is this as a duplicate post. When I hit "Submit" I was thrown back to the login prompt so trying again.

I have added a second hotspot to my shop (otherwise know as The Faraday Cage) because I am unable to get a signal in from my home. I am being careful to not to be linked to any reflector on more than one hotspot at a time. The odd thing is I I am unable to operate DSTAR on any reflector other than 01C with the new hotspot. I am not heard, and I don't show up on "Last Heard" on any other reflector. I have tried at least 5 different ones. Below are the pertinent logs from my latest attempt. Is there anything obviously wrong? Is there a way to see if the DSTAR network is throwing an error? I've been searching this forum for answers and fighting this for days with no progress.

Well, I moved from trying to figure out what is wrong to making it work. I used a backup from my other hotspot to configure the new pistar node, tweaked the configuration, and all is well now. I've run a diff on all of the backup files so I will try to go back and figure out what was configured incorrectly before.

Thanks to those who read this post with the intention of trying to help.
