No Local RF actvity

Post by VU2FFW »

Hi All,
I'm using a raspberry pi zero with a MMDVM(Pi-Star 4.1x) hat and it receives traffic from the talk groups and able to hear on my Anytone base station but no response from local rf is seen in the dashboard when i press the PTT button , this was working initially. Please share any pointers to identify and resolve this issue. de VU2FFW/Divakar

Hi,

It may be the case when the DMR IDs in the hotspot and your radio are different and the hotspot is set to private mode.

You might also want to check the power output of that "base station" -- if it is near to the hotspot anything more than minimum power could be overloading the hotspot front end. (If I key up my DMR HT in my computer room, even on lowest power -- the RF activates my paper shredder! The hotspot is locate some 20 feet away in the middle of my house.)
