recever/transmitter settings 12.5, 20 or 25 khz?

I put together a Pi_STAR DMR repeater using 2 Motorola CM200's.
I'm not interested in enabling the other modes, so it will be DMR only.
I programmed both transmitter and receiver bandwidth at 12.5KHZ which i figured DMR is narrowband.
I had other ham operators tell me i had to configure both radios 25KHZ bandwidth.
So i wonder what other fellow repeater owners who use PI-STAR configure their radios?
Any thoughts?
