How to set up two hot spots: one for DStar, one for DMR

Post by KK4C »

I want to set up two hot spots, one for Dstar and one for DMR and have them run simultaneously. I am fine with how to configure the DStar and DMR settings, but not clear on how to prevent conflicts between the two hot spots when they are on the same LAN via WiFi

Pretty clear they will need separate simplex frequencies, and suspect they will also need different names on the network.

Would be grateful for anyone who has successfully set up two pi-star hot spots to service simultaneous DStar and DMR activity.

Thanks!

Bill

Hi,

They won't conflict on the network level. Same as multiple computers within the same LAN :)

Give each its own frequency and host name and it'll work out fine.
