MFG to cease.....
Re: MFG to cease.....
What is not stated in those reports is
Did R-Pi Foundation not offer a renewal of the license?
Or did RS Group not seek a renewal of the license?
I've read one post suggesting that RS Group is coming out with their own SBC design which would be in competition with the R-Pi market -- but different enough to not need a license. So it could be that R-Pi did not choose to renew with a now-competitor manufacturer; or RS Group didn't renew as they want the manufacturing facility dedicated to their new SBC.

Re: MFG to cease.....
Their Licence to manufacture Pi's had expired. RS stopped building Pi's for raspberry pi foundation a couple mnths back.
Pi SBC's (being manufactured in Wales, U.K) but supply shortages still hold no's of Pi's produced in short supply.
