So I have a simplex MMDVM hotspot on a Pi Zero W. Every time I power it up, all is well for about a minute, then my DMR mode status turns from green to red. My DMR Gateway network status stays green. This unit is set up as a -01 for ID. I also run a MMDVM duplex hotspot with no issues. Where do I start with troubleshooting? I have verified my Brandmeister password is correct.

Go to admin/expert/edit-dmrgateway.php and check your passwords and details ID's callsign, freqs etc are all correctly entered there.

You can test by not using dmrgateway and insyead use a direct server choice. If it all works there, then its an entry in dmrgateway thats adrift.
