Hotspot won't connect to wifi, screen stuck showing Startup

Post by HB9FUH »

Odd problem here. Hotspot stopped responding, so I power cycled it and now the screen shows MMDVM and Startup. I connected to the built-in AP and the Configuration page shows that WLAN0 is disconnected. Nothing has changed with my Wifi router (everything else connects fine) and clearly the Wifi chip on the Pi is working, so why won't it connect to the house wifi?

Any ideas?

Possibly card corruption. The weak point in all rasp. Pi's is the sd card.

Time maybe for a new download, re-burn and start over.

It took a while, but I just did this and now the hotspot won't even boot.

I bought an ethernet adapter, and now I can use my DMR radio. WiFi still doesn't connect, but at least I have a working system.
