Ailunce HD1 to software difficulty HELP !!

Hi thanks for dropping in.
I'm DESPERATELY trying to interface my brand new Ailunce HD1 to the HD1 software program and failing miserably. Whilst the TX sees the USB driver OK that's as far as I get as, when I log in to Basic Information to see the Serial number Version etc. the blanks remains blank.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software and USB driver a million times and I'm now 'really' STUCK !!
