I am trying to set up a new ZUM Spot (actually trying to rebuild an old one) and I don't see the pull-down option for Modem/Radio Type that i expect to see in the "General Configuration" section. What am I doing wrong?
I have done lots of these, but it has been a while.
Don't see option for Modem Type

[... assuming yer image is up-to-date ...]
You should be seeing six entries for Zumspot/Zumradio in the drop-down list: either scroll down the list or type a Z in the search box.
And: what what do you see when you run "sudo pistar-findmodem"?

Re: Don't see option for Modem Type
The trouble is that I don't see the drop-down box so I never get to the list. I tried the process again last evening and I entered my callsign into the callsign box and did "Apply Changes" at which point the "Radio Modem Type" pull-down appeared along with the "MMDVMHost Configuration" panel.
Anyway, I was able to proceed from there.
There must be something that I am missing.

Re: Don't see option for Modem Type
Ah, you may not be missing anything: the drop-down may simply not appear until other information is entered/applied first. Like you say, it's been awhile - I've forgotten too.
