Hello,
I have a MMDVM dual hotspot that is working perfectly in DMR, D-Star and POCSAG. With YSF, I have the following problem with my ft-3de.
On Channel B, YSF works as expected.
On Channel A, the Hotspot does not enable YSF mode or receive anything.
Also, the Wires-X button has no effect - the hotspot stays totally silent.
I checked if the radio is transmitting on the correct frequency with a second radio - looks korrekt to me. Also, mode and TX/RX dp-id are identical on channel A and B on the FT-3DE.
The problem also occurs when I activate YSF on the hotspot using channel B on the radio and then quickly switch to channel A while the hotspot is still listening to YSF mode. The channel A transmission does not reach the hotspot.
What setting could be different in channel A and Wires X to channel Bon the FT-3DE that could produce this behavior? Or is there a general difference between channel A and channel B that could produce this behavior?
Thanks in advance for your help.

ft-3de only working on channel B
Re: ft-3de only working on channel B
As i remember it. the lower cost handies only have digital available on one VFO,
VFO B.
So this is most likely correct.

Re: ft-3de only working on channel B
This was the case for the FT-1D and FT-1XD but not for the FT-3D which does support C4FM on both A and B radios.
I don't know what the problem is, I have not sat and scoured the manual.
Maybe this could help?
