This is very much my first day in getting involved with Pi-Star. Been meaning to do this for a while now - time to do it !!

Firstly, is the FT70D capable of DMR as it is a Digital radio??

Your radio runs C4FM meaning you have access to fcs and ysf reflectors. You can also access DMR networks (as well as p25 & nxdn links) by using the ysf2... crossmodes.
