I did a fresh install of the new pi star version this evening. I am using a pi 0 v2w and a zumspot usb. I attempted a firmware update using the new firmware update tool as my usb is behind on firmware. I get the following:

Starting FW Upgrade, please walt...
* Checking 'zum_usb' firmware version (1.6.1)...

* Validating firmware file integrity...
(v1 Passed! File integrity validation succeeded.
* Preparing to flash 'zum_usb' modem with firmware version (1.6.1) ...
!1 Flashing modem - please wait...
Failed to open serial device.
[x] ERROR: Modem flashing failed. The serial port was either busy, or the modem. possibly locked from the vendor. You can try running this command again, or you can contact the supplier of your modem/hotspot for support.


Any ideas?

Same problem here with this ZUM USB...

(Also with Lonsestar MMDVM Simplex hat.)
