Dashboard 20240218 Breaks STM32-DVM / MMDVM_HS Hat

I installed the above mentioned hat on a Zero 2W and a 3B+. Both working well until the update came through with Dashboard date 20240218. Reboot does not fix it. reloading an earlier pi-star does. then update, and broke again. pi-star can no longer see the RF board.

Hoping for some help with this. Is there anything I can try. Otherwise I will comment out the updates on the CHRON and leave it with no upgrades for a bit. I experienced this issue this weekend and simply reverted back by re-imaging the card to get things working again.

The dashboard version does not help me much, is this 4.1.x 4.2.x or 4.3.0 ?
All of those use the same binaries so it should not matter too much which it is.

What firmware is on the board?

Both working and non working pi board show 4.2.0

One hat is FW 1.5.2 and the other is 1.6.1. I only updated one of them... both came from same vendor at the same time. I can only see what the FW is when the hat is installed on the "non-updated" pi board. I was only able to update the FW on the hat prior to the update as the updated pi board no longer can see the hat. Either hat can be swapped back to the "working, non-updated" pi board and it functions fine.

Upgrade to 4.2.1 for sure, it cures a few issues that I think you are seeing with NextionDriver.

EDIT: and reboot once the upgrade is done of course.

Good deal Andy. Update to 4.2.1 has the hat working again. So apparently there is something broken in 4.2.0 I also didn't realize I needed up update several times to get the latest. I greatly appreciate you time!
