Hi
I took a backup of 4.1.8 so I could do a fresh install and get things working nicely new.
Backup Ok, Flash the SD card OK, up and running OK on default.
Go to restore and it wants to open the file rather than upload when you click on the downloaded file. It won't let me upload it.
I zip it up and then it dumps it in an additional depth directory and then won't run the restore, it just errors and says files not in /tmp/config-restore/ which they are actually in one directory further in being the name of the file.
What options do I have to make it work? Is there a way I can do via SSH? I have all up 5 to do of which 1 is a repeater so would like see if can figure out an easier way to make it happen for smooth restore. And will solve a problem should we have a failure and I need to restore in a hurry.
Thanks
Restore 4.2.1 on macOS not working
Re: Restore 4.2.1 on macOS not working
Just save the backup zip to the root directory as you would with wpa_supplicant.conf and reboot, it should restore the backup automagically.
