Has anyone tried to get PI-Star working with the UDRC II board? I run a near area hotspot have about a 40 mile radius on it would be nice to have pistar as my image to support the other digital modes in the area.

Can you tell me anything about the board - does it have support for MMDVMHost ?

No it doesn't.... It was designed with DStarrepeater in mind, when a challenge was issued to get a yeasu dr1 running DSTAR as a joke amongst the developers.. but turned into a actual product..
It's basically a gpio soundfob with PTT although I think it has a little clever filtering inbuilt also... uses some specific drivers developed and released by NW digital for use with their compass operating system.
Also used for APRS & analogue modes as supports direwolf fldigi etc.

Reading the link in you post does appear to say that Jonathan has included the mode you are after. Please supply note information showing where Jonathan has done this

Hi Andy. I'm wondering if you have any plans to add the NW Digital Radio UDRC to the list of Pi-Star modems.
The thread on this appears to have died back in August. I know that Jonathan had added a version of MMDVM to run on a RPi with a UDRC on his GitHub page> https://github.com/g4klx/MMDVM-UDRC

Many thanks.

Hi Mike,

They are still working out a few issues. You can find more info in this thread:
