Re: 4.1.5 full ISO "Dstar network down"

The issue is because: ircddbUsername=M1ABC and not the callsign of the hotspot operator. To solve the issue, go into the expert editor for ircDDBGateway and set it to your legally assigned callsign. This issue has been resolved now, the config page will correctly set the username again for the new ...

Re: Loosing Startup Link

I've reverted the change on the update server to provide host-names in the host file, this should clean up this issue for everyone over the next few hours / overnight update.

Updates are cached, it will take a little while for the cached content to refresh.

Re: Loosing Startup Link

I have been asked to NOT pre-resolve all the hosts in the YSF list to IP addresses on the update server, in order to help users host YSF hosts on dynamic addresses. I don't believe that this is a good idea, and will make for un-relyable services, but the argument is that in the spirit of ham and try...

Re: Resolved: change timeout timer from 240 to 600 causes config issue, restore backup required.

You can set them to what you like, if you have a few modes enabled, I tend to suggest longer timers, to save on frustration of loosing the box mid conversation when another mode picks up..... I also suggest longer timers for RF than network, so 120 secs for RF, maybe 90 secs for network... experimen...

Re: change timeout timer from 240 to 600 causes config issue, restore backup required.

Change to the timeout will not blow up the config, please check that the options line you are using is quoted, it has to be. the dashboard does this, but I have seen suggested manual edits that do not include the quote marks.... so start with that :)

Re: <RESOLVED> V4.1.5 MMDVM DMR Repeater dropouts?

The only other comment I have, is that we recently updated the version of MMDVMHost - so its probably a good idea to update the firmware on your MMDVM board too.

Re: "No D-Star Network"/"D-Star Net" status red after update

Look for the callsign M1ABC in the ircDDBGateway config - seen this in one other instance...
Fix that with the expert editor and you should be back in action quickly... In the mean time I will take a look and see if I can see why this happens.

Re: D-Star Terminal Mode startup

The device order DOES matter - the radio will need to be on first, and setup in terminal mode before the Pi comes online - because that is how the USB connection will show the correct port on the Pi (and the dstarrepeater process will need that). I'll setup one of mine to test this theory out this w...
