Re: mmdvm vs DStarRepeater mode

Depends on the hardware used. For MMDVM boards use a mmdvmhost setup.
For earlier generation or legacy hardware such like DSTAR gmsk boards, dvrptr cards, dvap, original dvmega etc. use a Dstarrepeater setup.

Re: FM

Andrew, It would appear that it may be a modem firmware issue. Everything is as it should be in mmdvm.ini, but the moment I enable it I get the error that I posted in my original post and that is that, it all stops there and no mode works. The modem supports POCSAG (although the vendor was adamant ...

Re: FM

Any one wondering... 4.1.2 supports fm. Its just the config hasnt be set to handle its setup. Its poss to copy the fm section to your mmdvm.ini then youll have FM mode, providing your modem firmware supports it. [FM] Enable=1 # Callsign= CallsignSpeed=20 CallsignFrequency=1000 CallsignTime=10 Callsi...

Re: can't operate on Reflector 1C in crossmode.

Simple: Dont. Dplus Admins have stated befor their busier main reflectors shouldn't be crosslinked to any other system. Just because the ability exists, doesn't mean you should do it. Cross linking 1c, 30c will get you and your bridge an instant ban when found out. Remember you are a guest on these ...

Re: Pi-star hotspot config pie.

You also have the option of cloning a 2nd sd card from the 1st card if using a similar setup using the same software you used to burn the original image by selecting the option to read from the 1st card and burn that saved file to the 2nd card. Then proceed in setting up the changes needed within th...

Re: Weird audio on Zumspot with FT70

YSF will handle both DN and VW modes but obvs only others using the same mode will be able to hear one another in that same mode.
Also only DN will crossover to DMR / NXDN and only VW will cross over to P25 if using any crossover modes.

Re: D-Star Connection Issue with multiple hotspots

If the attempts of linking with dstar manager actually result in both linking then theoretically that can only leave the radio setups between memories. Check and double check that each is exactly the same between the memory settings that link Vs the settings of the radios memory channel that doesnt ...

Re: D-Star Connection Issue with multiple hotspots

Connect your mobile installation to the home network to check if your getting blocked by your mobile broadband service provider. id also suggest you change DMR IDs by adding an ssid to each eg. 315070801 1315070802 (01) (02) this way the DMR server will see each installation as a seperate connection...

Re: Additional network via mobile phone

You dont need to be away from home to set this up. You can simply go to the config page scroll to the bottom in the wifi section and scan for networks. there you can setup a new connection by connecting to what ever you need (obvs. ensure the mobile hotspot is running before scanning) else the confi...
