Re: Troubleshooting RF connection to Pi-Star
Check ur not connecting via dmrgateway. Ensure you have the actual server selected in the server field of the dmr config. Next check, double, then triple check you have the correct security hotspot password entered as you have it setup in ur BM selfcare acc. Whilst your in there, check you have not ...

Re: High BER on DMR
The hat won't have much of an effect on the packet loss. Loss is whats coming into you over ur network connection. Hat is RF. If you had a high BER, that would be hat based. look at ping times & packet jitter over and through ur network setup. Sent via smoke signals from my SM-G935F M1DNS (Admin)

Re: pi-star and WPA
Once the pi boots it should make use of the data saved in the wpa supplicant file to log on to ur home wifi network.
You can check it has by looking in the connected devices section of ur router.

Re: High BER on DMR
Yeah, BER is losses in the rf path.
Loss is, loss over the network path.
Try going into mmdvmhost expert page
Change jitter value to 600 -> Save changes.

Re: Need help with multiple DMR networks
You can use Dmrgateway and swap network2 out for a TGIF address instead of it defaulted DMR+ Alt. you could add tgrewrites to allow a single network on each timeslot of ur duplex setup. Or add another network with a new set of rewrite rules and cover all 3 networks simultaneously. Ps. If you setup a...

Not sure if that's a 'feature' to allow you to go out and come back in where you left off.
No its not a feature, the point of wires x linking is to move the connection.

Re: YSF2DMR Locked into DMR Talk Groups?
YSF2DMR puts you on a DMR network. There are no rooms with DMR, only TG's
You need to drop out of YSF2DMR mode to get back to YSF only.

Re: YSF2DMR Locked into DMR Talk Groups?
You need to hit the wires x button agn.
Once to select ysf2dmr, and agn to move the tg.
Back out of wires x mode and come back in agn to disconnect the Tg. move off of YSF2DMR and use it to join to another ysf reflector.
