Re: DMR MMDVM does not see my radio

Had any luck? You could try changing the RX/TX offsets by -150 at a time and see if it starts hearing each time, maybe go as far as -1000.

As for TGRewrites, the TG Rewrite lines aren't there in my config. I know I have seen them there before, but not now.

Thanks

Re: DMR Gateway dropping out

Hi Pete, Believe me that everything you are saying, I have been there. From "network watchdog has expired" in your log, to not hearing anything and then more, including endless, continual announcements from DMR+_IPSC2-VKHOTSPOT saying "not connected". Every-time that I came to an unsolvable dead end...

Re: DMR Gateway dropping out

Hi Pete, I eventually got DMR Gateway working very well. First step, I only enabled one network, the Brandmeister network, and got that working. Then I learnt the rewrite rules: https://github.com/g4klx/DMRGateway/wiki/Rewrite-Rules This thread has some info that may be helpful: https://forum.pistar...

Re: Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node

Thank you all for your kind replies Assignment of talk groups to time slots is something done at the repeater/hotspot level and does not propagate beyond that level (just as "color code" is only used between your radio and the hotspot/repeater). Only the talk group number has meaning to the master s...

Re: Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node

Yes, I have a simplex hotspot.

No, TS1 is not enabled, it is disabled.

The question is, where are the rewrite rules for TS1 defined, in Pi-Star or in the Master server?

Rewrite Rules in Simplex Node

Within the DMR configuration, the DMR Master "DMRGateway" has some default rewrite rules, which can be edited. When selecting either DMR+ or BrandMeister as Master, there doesn't seem to be any rewrite rules, but I assume that there must be some somewhere as TS1 is disabled. Are the rewrite rules ha...

Re: Parrot Issue - Live Log entries

Hi Alan, I don't know of a similar dashboard for BM, but you can get some info on the https://hose.brandmeister.network/ and https://brandmeister.network/ page. With the Brand Meister and VKDMR talk groups, TG380x groups are shared on both sites. What had me completely stumped was that TG505 is not ...

Re: Parrot Issue - Live Log entries

Alan, It took me a few tries to get the parrot to work, but it works well now. I have a Talk Group with: TG/DMR ID 9990, slot 2, Private call, called "Parrot/9990" I also have a Talk Group with: TG/DMR ID 9, Group call, called "LocalRPTR/9". This is added to my Receive Group call list as Group Name ...
