Re: Need help in compiling custom firmware
I assume that you followed this process https://github.com/juribeparada/MMDVM_HS/blob/master/BUILD.md If you have trouble compiling the stm32flash (think it's version 0.5) pi-star comes with stm32flash 0.4 and that will do the trick just fine. You'll need to follow the process for the mmdvm_hs. Sent...

Re: Hs hat duplex no rx and no Dmr login
Hmm ! seperation maybe too high? try 10 mhz maybe? I'm only using such a large frequency separation because here in Australia we have access from 430-450MHz so obviously were you don't have access to that amount of frequency due to your countries regulation for the 70cm band you just need to make d...

Re: Hs hat duplex no rx and no Dmr login
I'm using a -425 rx offset with firmware 1.4.6 on mine. However I am using the maximum amount of seperation 430.5-449.5 giving me 19MHz between the two... YMMV

Re: Hs hat duplex no rx and no Dmr login
Thanks for the response. Yes I used the command you noted to upgrade. It took me from 1.3.3 to 1.4.6. Frequency spacing is 435.500 rx and 440.500 tx. It seems like I read a thread about having to change a password after firmware update but I can’t find it I didn't need to change the password after ...

Re: Hs hat duplex no rx and no Dmr login
Did you flash the correct firmware? sudo pistar-mmdvmhshatflash hs_dual_hat Anything else and that's most likely why it's not working, plus you need to make sure that you are using the largest frequency separation possible to overcome the problem of desence from the transmit side Sent from my Pixel ...

Re: Color OLED Compatibility
Not compatible as that oled uses SPI but the type required for use with MMDVM needs to be I2c. The most common size used is 0.96 inch and come in either white, blue or a yellow/blue. Be careful to note the pin out as some have the vcc & ground switched (only a problem if mounting directly on a J...

Re: Change rooms
How many modes do you currently run? If it's 3 or more this will be the reason, the time spent on each mode during the scan period is enough to cut off part of the wires-X packet, if you press the PTT so you get a lock on YSF then proceed with the wires-X commands it works as expected.
