Disconnect VKDMR without Re-boot

Post by VK2FMET »

I have a question on how to disengage from VKDMR. I do not set any static groups. My OPTIONS are TS1_1=TG4000; TS2_1=TG4000;
So the dashboard shows no static groups on boot-up.

I key down on a group, say 505, and I have 15 minutes to listen and take part. But I may want to disengage before the 15 minutes is up and take part in a BM QSO.

But how do I force a reset on that 15 minutes before it expires? So I don't get interrupted on my TG91 QSO because someone on 505 keys up.

I can do this on other networks e.g. BM and D-Star by un-linking without a reboot but it appears that I need to get on and off a reflector and not a TG to use the same logic on VKDMR?

PTT on TG4000 seems directed at disengaging from a reflector not a TG

OK - TG400, not 4000 cancels the dynamic TG connection
