Talkgroup Hangtime ?

Post by MM0BUH »

Hi. Is there anyway on BM pi star to make talkgroups sticky ? In other words, with several static tg on a single timeslot it will stay locked on the active tg for perhaps 30 seconds rather than switch to another tg that has just become active between overs ? Ta Nigel MM0BUH GB7BB

DMR is all driven by the head end - the network, so there is no way for you to force it.

You can have separate TGs active on the two time slots (assuming this is a duplex repeater), but in the case where you have multiple TGs static on one time slot, assuming the slot goes idle (no traffic from any of them) the first one to be active next wins and that is what you hear.

When it comes to static TGs, unless the ones you choose are very quiet, less is more :)
