Two DVRPTR-V1 on PI-STAR

Hi,

I'm trying to get a second instance of the dstarrepeater service to work.
To this test, I created the config file in /home/pi-star for the second DVRPTR-V1 (UHF radio module). I still have the same error: the config file cannot be opened. The file is in the directory and the paths in the command line are correct it seems to me. The creation of the log file works.

The first modem (DVRPTR-V1 - VHF) works with the basic pi-star configuration. These are the same configuration files with only the repeater callsign which changes (B for UHF) and the USB port for the modem (/dev/ttyACM1) which is recognized by the system.

I don't see where my mistake is, yet it is very simple.
The VHF repeater works perfectly but cannot add the UHF module to it.

Thank you for your reply.

Of course I know the difference between the "short" and "long" options, but here I used the syntax offered by the service.

And the short option -logdir /home/pi-star for writing the log file it works fine in the correct directory.

I tested several syntax. Always the same error, see below:

The groups and users permissions are ok. I also tested in "root" mode just in case.
It's very strange. For me there is nothing wrong but it doesn't work.

Hi guys,

I have found my problem and therefore the solution.
When using the "repeater name" option in command line, the configuration file name will end with "_{repeater name string}".
Exactly like the log file.
It's very simple but you had to think about it.
It is therefore necessary to rename the configuration file "dstarrepeater_FXXX" so that it is loaded by the service.
