I have an MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX that works in all modes except DMR.
It has firmware v1.5.2.
For the modem, I have it set to the STM32-DVM / MMDMV_HS - Raspberry Pi Hat (GPIO).
I also have a ZUMspot that works perfectly on DMR and I have the exact same settings for both for the DMR configuration.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
Try using this modem setting:
MMDVM_HS_Dual_HAT (DB9MAT, DF2ET & DO7EN) for Pi (GPIO)
To flash this it is normal to need the BOOT1 jumper shorted, there is usually a PCB pad you can solder across.

Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
Hmm, the STM32 used to have a Duplex setting that seems to have gone away in one of the latest updates, since I am 99% sure that is what I was using as thats what I have.....looking now, it is set the same as what you have, and its working just fine in duplex.....I only use DMR....GL!
Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
The duplex function works fine for all the other modes (D-Star, YSF) with this modem selected.
All the DMR settings are correct. As I mentioned, the DMR settings are exactly the same as my other hot spot and it works properly.
It just doesn't seem to hear or transmit DMR at all.

Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
I changed the modem to: MMDVM_HS_Dual_Hat (DB9MAT, DF2ET & DO7EN) for Pi (GPIO). Still no DMR.
I changed my ID to the other one I have (different from my other hot spot) and still no DMR.
However, before when I keyed up, I got no repeater found tone.
Now I get a connect tone, but still nothing shows up in the dashboard.

Frequency offset perhaps?AB8PR wrote: ↑Fri Feb 12, 2021 5:44 pm I changed the modem to: MMDVM_HS_Dual_Hat (DB9MAT, DF2ET & DO7EN) for Pi (GPIO). Still no DMR.

Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
I did the frequency calibration. Still no DMR.
Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
Absolutely nothing appears when I transmit on DMR.
When I transmit on D-Star, I do get log entries.
Also, when I ran the calibration, it did transmit and I was able to hear the test tone on my DMR radio.
When I transmitted from the radio, the hot stop did show it heard my radio and reported BER error rates, etc.
So, why isn't it connecting?

Re: MMDVM_HS_HAT_DUPLEX DMR not working
Nope, that's not it. The radio ID matches the Pi-Star and the ID is correct.
