Help Me Please!!!

This has virtually landed me in the divorce courts lol.
Started Xmas day I was brought a lovely shiny new Anytone D878uv2+ to replace my 868 and decided to get my trusty old hotspot out of storage (been there since before lockdown as have not seen the person who normally updates it for me in a while. I then decided oh it cant be that hard well i was wrong!!!! after several hours of google and you tube i am still no further ahead, Not entirely true,
DMR
have BM working on its own complete with self care showing on admin page
TGif working on its own complete with self care showing on admin page
the idea now is to move these over to DMRGW and use together
no such luck
i have used the DMRGW overlay on this forum and set it to my id and passwords on BM and TGif and set the master servers as they are on my working configs.
but still no luck i think it may be the radio code plug but this is yet another headache lol.
So before I give up can anyone help so ! can at least get this working in its simplest form before next year?
And Help save my marriage ???

If you have perused the rest of the forum (the DMR subforum in particular) you may find that "simplest form" is to not try to use the Gateway to work with different hosts at the same time. {One gets the impression that anyone who comes here for information on setting up the gateway mode leaves as soon as it works, and never hangs around to support the next person asking about it -- most responses are from people who do not use gateway [such as I] citing documentation}.

You will probably want to check the appropriate log files to see what the system is seeing from your radio, and what it does with that information

Gateway mode might add another set of files to the list...

As for code-plug... If I understand the gateway scheme, you will have to edit at least one set of channels/contacts as the gateway (via the rewrite rules) uses a range of TG numbers (with an extended prefix digit) to identify which host/network, and remaps those numbers to the real numbers used by that network.

i think i have got it
the problem was that it kept disconnecting from 2341 however I have moved it to 3021 and no more disconnect.

now i have the modem running the codeplug will be a lot easier. I guess a couple of cups of tea and time away from the problem helped.

have calls from TG91 on BM showing and from TG 4009996 on TGif showing now.

No idea what the problem is with 2341 but will leave on alternate master overnight and see if any random DC occur
