pi-star configuration

Post by n8nij »

I just purchased a pi-star hotspot and I am having a problem getting it configured properly. I went through the registration process but I can not connect to the internet on my computer or my phone. I have my handheld set to 433.900 and when I push the ptt button on my yaesu ft3d or ft5d I can see that my callsign is showing up on the hot spot screen but apparently my signal is not going out. Any help with this would be much appreciated. I also can not get to the admin page maybe I am entering the wrong address.

What did you register for? Theres no registration that i'm aware of for FCS/YSF
Or are you running crossmodes YSF2DMR maybe?

I went through a process where I entered callsign freqency and mode primarily. The card that came with the hotspot had information on it so I just entered what I thought was necessary. Also entered ssid and password.

Ok, so log into your router to check that the pi is connected to it.
If its showing the router would of allocated it an ip address. Use that ip address shown in ur browser. eg 192.168.1.***

If its not showing connected in ur router. search local wifi for pistar setup access point. If you see that. Go to the FAQ section of this forum and read through the post: configuring for wifi using pistar AP.
