YSF network connection lost

Hi!
I have a Raspberry Pi 3 model B with Pi-Star 4.2.3 and MMDVM_HS_Dual_Hat-v1.5.2 20201108. It has been working correctly for months until the last update to 4.2.3 (maybe unrelated). I only use the hotspot YSF mode with my Yaesu FT3D and wiresx (C4FM). After the update the hostspot start working normally but after a while connection to YSF network is lost and stay disconnected.

Also I observed sometimes the hotspot do not connect to default reflector when I power it.

Can you help me please? thanks

Same here, nobody is able to sustain a connection to my YSF reflector, they just disconnect after a few minutes. This started a couple of days ago.

Good morning all,
Sinds a nightly update from beginning of this week (approx 12-13 May) I experience the same problem with my local Hotspot.
It took a while to find that pi-star does an hourly check for new Hostfile, which appears to cause the network connection to disconnect.
As a work around I have disabled the hourly check by changing the ReloadTime value from 60 to zero in [Configuration - Expert - YSF GW / YSF Network]
The disconnect problem appears to be related to the Hostfile-move from YSFReflector - Registry to DVRef support team.
I hope this info helps solving your problem too.

http://xlx286.dmrturkiye.com I registered our server https://dvref.com, our server appeared as ysf28600 in the server list on pi-star, I selected and registered it, it connects to our server, after 1 hour pi-star drops from the server, it does not connect again, when I look at the pi-star Dashboard it appears connected, but it does not appear connected on the server,



There was no such problem before, the problem occurred after registering on https://dvref.com,
what can I do to fix this problem?

Not for me. After the "ReloadTime" change now it works ok for several hours, maybe 7 or 8 hours, but the connection is lost again. The dashboard keep telling me the connection is active, but it is not. My system is Pi-Star:4.2.3 / Dashboard: 20250517. I am thinking test another version of PiStar.

Yes, just one reading every 24 hours, since the hosts file is downloaded only once a day. But what if it disconnects at that time? Then it will never reconnect until the next day?
And anyway, I repeat, why did this problem not occur until last Monday?
Since then there have been some changes in the ysf code, so it makes you think that the problem is there......
