In the last 5 days APRS fails to show my ID-52. I have used both GPS data and a manual location. To my best knowledge nothing on the radio was changed. Another ham in the UK have the same problem with his ID-52. My ID-51 works fine. When I look at the raw APRS data it shows the transmission but all the position data is zero. Anyone have any idea what might be wrong?
Thanks

Re: ID-52 APRS
You said you looked at the raw data. Could you post one "packet" here or PM me with it? If you upgraded the ID-52 firmware, maybe something got jumbled in the settings. That said, I will test against DStarMonitor which is the original DPRS translation application and can be used on Pi-Star in lieu of the iircddbgateway APRS support (https://aprs-is.net/DStarMonitor.aspx).

Re: ID-52 APRS
Hi John,
My ID-52 (G1KEA-8) is reporting to aprs.fi fine through my hotspots, one running 4.2.1 and the other 4.2.3. Have you got APRS Host enabled? It works with both real time location and a location from memory. The radio is running v 1.23
I was speaking with Graeme about this the other week and sent him my config to try. I'll give him a call sometime and see how he's getting on.

Re: ID-52 APRS
Hi Guys,
ICOM has just implemented a fix related to the GPS position in aprs. You can check out this thread here with the explanation: https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?thread ... em.937241/
This is an issue with the programming software. ICOM has just updated the programming software and the radio firmware as well. If you use the latest version of these, the problem should be gone (hopefully).
