P25 reflector traffic kills MMDVM host.

Post by AK7AN »

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue? I built a P25 Reflector, TG21277, and have linked my DVSwitch server to that TG. I am Crossmoding Via DVSWitch from NXDN to P25. I have my DVSwitch linked to the BitByBit Hams 21277 NXDN reflector. I have my UHF PiStar based system running a ZumMMDVM modem interfaced with a UHF radio linked to the P25 TG21277. When I transmit on NXDN TG21277, crossmode to the P25 TG21277 via DVSwitch, the incoming traffic on P25 kills the MMDVM Host function on the UHF system that is linked to the P25 TG 21277. PiStar logs show absolutely zero.. Just that the MMDVM Host restarted. No SIGTERM restart message or anything indicating why the MMDVM Host went down. The Log from my P25 reflector shows nothing out of the ordinary. A Start of transmission and end of transmission, nothing else. I did link my p25 to the Quadent array and the PiStar and ZUM modem behave as expected transmitting just fine on P25.. Problem for me is I don't currently have a P25 Radio to test traffic back the other direction. I am trying to get the BitByBit Hams group a P25 Reflector up and running to be connected to the groups XLX188 hub reflector. If someone might have an idea to point me in the direction of solving this it would be gratly appreciated. Also If some has a P25 radio and hotspot sysytem that could connect to the TG21277 and test with me that would be greatly appreciated also.

Take care and 73,
Ed
