To start with, I don't know what I'm doing so any help is greatly appreciated. I am using a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B V1.2 and a DV MEGA RPIR V1.1. I had been successfully running the KB5RAB image but I hadn't used it in a couple of years. I am currently trying to get the pistar image to work with this hardware. When I start it it appears to be stuck in rpi-rw and I don't know what to do to fix it. https://photos.app.goo.gl/HLJRkZTAMqxgHKRNA
I have unzipped the image file, formatted the SD card and written the image using Etcher. I have tried to reload the image a couple of times. I'm not sure what my issue is. Thank you for your advice and suggestions.

Re: Pi-star image wont start correctly
This is an ongoing issue. When it happens, it typically doesn't work to manually switch Pi-Star back into Read-Only mode using the "rpi-ro" command. To fix this, there's a few things that might work: run or re-run a Pi-Star Update (via SSH: sudo pistar-update, or click the Update link in the Pi-Star dashboard, and sometimes it even helps to run the Pi-Star update from within the Pi-Star dashboard rather than via SSH), run a Pi-Star Upgrade even if you're on the latest version (sudo pistar-upgrade), reboot Pi-Star, power off the hotspot and then restart it. Good luck, this can be a bit of a frustrating one.

Re: Pi-star image wont start correctly
I performed the update and then the upgrade. Both seemed to complete successfully but it is still stuck in rw even after reboot and a complete power down and restart.
Re: Pi-star image wont start correctly
Does it actually prevent you from using Pi-Star? Can you access the Pi-Star Dashboard via your browser (http://pi-star.local/ or http://pi-star/)?

Re: Pi-star image wont start correctly
Maybe I don't understand how it is supposed to work exactly. I am expecting an operating system to open on the pi. Then I expect I could access the browser. Is this incorrect? I don't have access to an operating system. Is there another command I should be entering?
Re: Pi-star image wont start correctly
Nope. See the link in my footer. Have a quick read through the first few sections.

Reading now. Thanks
Re: Pi-star image wont start correctly
I should have found your website a couple of weeks ago. I have it working. Thanks for your help. Also, the pi is starting in ro mode now too.
