I guess I have the answer

Got the email from DVMEGA (Dooren Electronic Solutions).

RSSI is not implemented because of the short distance reach of a hotspot. For repeater i can understand the need of RSSI.

I guess no fancy S-meter on my Nextion screen then.

Oh well....
