Hi All:
I recently upgraded one of my repeaters, a dual DVRPTR system, replacing one of the DVRPTR Boards with a Repeater Builder MMDVM Board (Blue Board). I am running Pi-Star v3.4.17 (just did a manual update this morning); I am seeing high CPU utilization (as high as 2.9 in my load average stats). I also see callsigns on the dashboard (gateway activity) that I am not hearing, presumably since the CPU doesn't have the cycles to process this 'traffic'. When I run 'top' on my Pi, I see MMDVM consuming 100% of the CPU.
This is a Pi 2 Model B, btw.
The other thing, unrelated to the above, is that since I am running a dual module system, and still have a DVRPTR Board on my other repeater, I no longer see any activity (local or gateway traffic) for the repeater module that is still running the DVRPTR modem. Is it possible to recover and display traffic for both repeater modules? (BTW, I am using a second Pi for the 'other' repeater with a copy of dstarrepeater on the second Pi, with the DVRPTR modem connected to the second Pi), but the gateway is common to both repeater modules (running on the Pi where MMDVM is running).
Hope I have explained this adequately!
Looking forward to some suggestions.
Cheers,
Ramesh.

High CPU Utilization By MMDVM Host
Re: High CPU Utilization By MMDVM Host
3.4.17 is way back the line in terms of pistar releases. Current release is 4.1.3 and really where you need to be, instead of us trying to advise on a problem with you using such an outdated image. You'll prob. find updating to the new vers will automagically fix the issue.

Re: High CPU Utilization By MMDVM Host
Hi Andrew:
OK, thanks for your reply. I have downloaded the image for 4.1.2, flashed that to a new SD card and restored my backup. I was unable to upgrade to 4.1.3 (by using the 'Update' menu option). I will monitor CPU usage and let you know of any issues. It is around 0.47 right now!
Thanks,
Ramesh.

Re: High CPU Utilization By MMDVM Host
Hi Folks;
OK, now that the CPU utilization issue seems to be much better (I have still seen the load average as high as 1.7 or so... but at least this is not consistent), the other issue that remains is the limited dashboard capability - i.e., the dashboard only shows activity for the MMDVM-enabled module (module B in my case). The 'offboard' module (Module C) activity has disappeared since the upgrade to MMDVM from the former 2 x DVRPTR modem config. How do I get that back?
Thanks,
Ramesh.

Re: High CPU Utilization By MMDVM Host
I'm running the latest release on a Pi Zero WH. Since I did an update on 11/14, the CPU utilization has been pretty high - over 3:
So, I used ssh to get in and take a look: Looks like php-fpm is chewing up a *lot* of the CPU. Can this be turned off or something?pi-star@pi-star-blue(ro):~$ uptime
