I a new to hot spots and have a simple (maybe) question.
I have my hot spot setup and connecting to BM and can add a static talk group from the BM portal and the UV 380 receives he talk group, but when I remove the talk group and try to dynamically link the hotspot the radio gives me a busy tone.
I have double check RX/TX freq for the duplex hotspot and triple check the color code between the radio and the hotspot.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cant TX to hotspot
Re: Cant TX to hotspot
And how is the rest of the channel configuration set up?
You require a channel for each talk group you wish to use -- those channels will be identical except for the channel name, and the contact (talk group).

Re: Cant TX to hotspot
I realize you said that you are connected to BM.....however, as of 8:15am PT you are NOT connected.....not sure on the issue, but atm you are not connected at all.
Re: Cant TX to hotspot
Sorry I have been in and out of my office and I powered the hotspot down while not in my office.
should be reconnected now.

Re: Cant TX to hotspot
yup, you are connected now....shows you havent RX/TX'ed in 19 days and that looks like a repeater connection since its only 6 digits long...not sure where youre issue may be....
Re: Cant TX to hotspot

Thank you maybe someone else can see something I am missing.

Re: Cant TX to hotspot
Sorry to double post, but I have set the hotspot to public and still have the same issues.
Re: Cant TX to hotspot
I'm slightly intrigued that "QT Reverse" (down in the ANALOG channel section) is not ghosted out as the other Analog settings are...
If that is active in both DMR and analog modes, you might try picking other choices in it... You might also try other values for "Admit Criteria".
