Zum spot upgrade advice for a newguy

Post by KF0AWL »

Ok I'm new to this whole pistar thing so please bare with me.
I'm running a Zum spot 3.5 screen with a pi zero (yes slower then molasses in January  that I received from a fellow HAM and was reading and this whole zero 2 thing looks like a huge improvement! But I'm not long on funds after 4 years now on disability with back issues or steady hands, so i come to yall for advice and help.
Looking on eBay I see zero 2's in all price ranges but I'm very much a cheapest isn't always the best choice person. what's the average price for a decent Zero 2 (would prefer with pins already on... last one I tried to solder I almost killed) lol and if yall could send me some eBay links that would be even better. that way I can put some pennies aside and know how many I got to save.

In regards to the Raspberry Pi 2W look on Amazon

In regards to installing the header pins look on Amazon

No Soldering required. Their kits works very well. Fast and easy.
