Trying to save reflector to Wires Category on FT3D

I am using an FT3D with an MMDVM hotspot. I have looked in the programming software for a way to save a reflector to a Wires Category but there doesn't seem to be a way to do so in the software.
I watched a You-Tube video where someone used the Search & Direct function and was able to search for a reflector and after clicking on it, the screen changed to the screen that has the "add" button at the bottom middle. He said, "If you haven't been on this reflector before, it will come up with this screen and you will be able to hit the add button to add it to a category." This insinuates that if you have visited this reflector previously, this screen wouldn't come up. I have tested this extensively and I can not get that screen to come up even on reflectors I've never been to using the Search & Direct function.
The only way I have found to add a reflector to a Category is to use the ALL button, which lists all of the reflectors. You then have to page through each screen 20 at a time, refreshing from the hotspot each time. If the reflector you want is three hundred down, it's almost impossible to refresh that many times without losing connection or something going wrong.
Has anyone found a better way to add reflectors to the FT3D?
