Re: Apparently my D74 transmits DSTAR when it is turned off.
Whats being reported on the dashboard when you see the transmissions. Where is it linked, if anywhere? what features do you have enabled remote control, timeserver etc? What time of day does the dashboard show the keyups occurring?

Re: pi-star 4.1.4
Set it to public, then below you'll see the DMR access list. If you add no entries (leave the box empty) when running as a repeater or gateway, it'll pass everyone it hears. Add the ID's of who you want to pass (ie family members) as comma seperated entries in the box below the private / public che...

Re: YSF Location
Ive lost track were we are currently with radio bourne gps and porting to aprs.fi etc. given the change over to using aprsgateway as a seperate feed to the network. Re: KEEPING NON REGISTERED USERS FROM GAINING ACCESS
If you block access in pistar your only curing 1/2 your problem. Yeah, block him tx'ing through the install and getting on the network, but you wont stop him keying over top you. If they're closer to the repeater than you, or running more pwr hes going knock your signal out. Unfortunatly the cure fo...

Re: KEEPING NON REGISTERED USERS FROM GAINING ACCESS
We didnt create it to cater to blacklisting users. In the uk, pistar home, it is against the repeater, gateway regs to run a close system. If you put something up hete, you have to make it available to all hams who have the license to use it. I know this is mostly a us of a thing, and to me defeats ...

Re: pi-star 4.1.4
Its to make you aware ur running public. This is the most case reason why networks are suffering from loops. Open hotspots pickup up other transmissions near by. Its intended as a be mindful message. If its just you (run as private) or you and a couple people in ur household using the install run pr...

Re: SSH login-- Typing is garbled...
Yeah, it broke on Android devices ages ago with one of their updates.
Install a SSH client app instead and you'll be fine. I use 'Juice' it works fine on both my phone and tablet.
